Meet Whitney LaTrice!

Actress. Costumer. Director. Educator.

Born and raised in Waco, TX, Whitney’s love of theater began at the age of 14. After graduation, she made the decision to stay local and attend McLennan College and later transferred to Sam Houston State University where she earned her BFA in Acting and Directing (Cum Laude) in 2011.

While in school, Whitney worked in the costume shop, stitching, draping, handling alterations and serving as a Wardrobe Supervisor. Throughout college, she built for and worked on numerous projects including Pride and Prejudice, Anything Goes, Cabaret, A Streetcar Named Desire and Into the Woods.

After earning her degree, she moved to the DFW Metroplex where she has been working as a multi-faceted artist on the professional theater scene for over 11 years. After a 7 year stint in the corporate sector, she joined the Performing Arts Faculty at Ursuline Academy of Dallas, where she teaches Stage Makeup & Design, Intro to Costuming, Advanced Makeup & Costuming and acts as the resident Costume, Hair/Wig and Makeup Designer for all Ursuline productions.
